Margarita's Mexican Restaurant - Virginia Beach: Authentic Flavor in Every Bite

Me and my partner visited today. It was slow when we came in but we appreciated the quiet laid back atmosphere. Not sure what it's like when it's busy but they deserve the business! The food was incredible. Well worth the money. I had a california burrito which they gracefully accommodated the customizations I made for, and my partner had the quesadilla which she said was delicious. We ordered queso as a starter which was also great and our server Manuel brought us extra chips when we ran out without us having to ask. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. Best Mexican I've had in the 757 and for prices that are worth the money! Highly recommended coming here.

Cutest little spot! We were kindly greeted and sat. Chips came before drinks which was perfect because after a day of moving I was starving. I enjoyed the beef tacos with beans and rice. My son loved the california burrito and carne asada fries. We will be back!

I have been coming to Margaritas since they opened. The food is always on point, the drinks are excellent, and the service and attentiveness is second to none. I always feel like I'm part of the family when I'm here. Tonight I discovered that the dishes served with crab meat are as authentic as everything else they create for you. Rest assured that they are not serving imitation crab meat as some restaurants will do. I'm a loyal customer and will keep coming back.

Solid 4, first off no white sauce for chips, and this is the type of place that won't give you a lot of chips and force you to have to awkwardly pace yourself to be near empty when they get back so you feel comfortable asking for more. I got enchiladas, and they were a lil small but came with 4 so it evened out. The nachos were surprisingly big considering how stingy they are with the dinning chips lol. The waitresses were on top of asking if we needed anything else tho, almost overtly so. One of them took away our bean dip when there was still plenty left I guess because it was nearing close but there was still like 40 mins left and we were almost done eating so that was a little weird but I assume they were just trying to clean up quicker. Everything was good food wise, typical Mexican, chicken was maybe a little bland (just boiled- no seasoning like the other meat)

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a little over three years and have never had a bad experience I tell everyone I know about this place definitely a great spot

The food was flavorful. I was overcharged. I specifically said I wanted the 3 tacos for $14. This is when she should have said it needs to be one kind if that's how they do it. When the waitress brought the check I politely showed her the discrepancy. She stated that it needed to be 3 of the same taco. I told her that's not what the menu said and also that I specifically said I wanted the 3 for $14. I told her if she fixed the amount, she could charge my card. She didn't fix the amount and ran my card anyway without telling me first. Any amount of money higher than the listed and agreed upon amount on the menu is theft. I spoke with 2 other employees and eventually they relented, voided the first bill and charged me a lower amount. It wasn't a large amount but the point shouldn't be that because its a low amount I should be okay with them taking my money. It's a shame because I would have gone back.
